Vintage Bookcard

Good evening. I did a couple of workshops/show-and-tell sessions in February. We made some water distressed flowers and 2 vintage style cards: a book card and a tag card. My students were most impressed by the flowers they made from scratch. The glitter spray on the flowers doesn't show well in the photo but they do look stunning in person.  The flowers are easy to make and look really pretty on cards and other projects.

The bookcard measures about 5.5" (H) x 4.75" (W) x 1" (D). The box inside is put together using 4 strips of cardstock with 5/8" accordian folds. It was a little tricky to make the folds evenly but we managed to build the box without too much difficulties. The inside cover has a pocket for a little note or a giftcard; the box is large enough for a few chocolates, tea bags, or a small present.

The stamp used here is from Stampsmith, the image was inked on glossy paper with Archival ink. Dies used are Magnolia Doohickey die (swirl), Memory Box die (wreath), Spellbinder die (flowers), and Marianne die (heart). Paper are from Stampin'Up and Bo Bunny.

I will be entering this bookcard in Stampsmith's March Challenge- Flip 'N Fold.

I will post the tag card we made in the next post. Thanks for stopping by.
