Happy Easter

Hello my dear blogland friends!

It's been ages since I posted a card.
I have been rather busy at work and have not had much time lately.
I have a few days off to catch up with household duties
and hope to visit your blogs.

The weather is sunny and warm here and cherry blossoms have already started~
perfect spring weather for the Easter weekend.

I have made a double easel Easter card using 4 Magnolia images
Tilda with Egg & Chicken
Tilda with Daffodil Basket
Little Hoppy with Buttercup
Happy Easter Background

I water colored the images with Distress Ink Pads.
When I finished coloring the background, I accidently spilled the water
all over the image I just painted. Luckily I was able to
salvage it quickly and repair as much I could.

I added some Flower Soft sand and sweetpea mix.
Dies used here are Memory Box, and Magnolia DooHickey.
Flower punch is Martha Steward.
DPs are Pion Design and Stampi'Up.

The following embellishments are available at The Ribbon Girl Shop:
Blue and pink Sweet Heart Blossoms; baby pink Tulip flower.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I wish you all a Happy Easter!

I wish to enter this card in the following challenges:

At least someone has sun and nice sunny days. We've only been getting snow and rain over the last couple of days. :S I'm fully ready for spring and warmer days so I hope sun will find its way here soon.
Your card is very beautiful! I love how you colored the images. And those dies you used are wonderful. Another eye candy from you! :)

Oh Katie, your heart must have stopped when you spilled the water on your image. All the time colouring...but it's all water colouring anyways. You
would never know. Maybe you will start a new trend of colouring with distress inkers and then flooding it with water afterwards. Stranger things have happened. Thanks for sharing. Have a great Easter and see you next week at work.

Hi Katie - this is a stunner, congratulations on your win at MDUC it is much deserved! Great minds must think alike as I'm currently working on a shaped easel layout with 2 bunny Tilda pop-ups & the Spring background you've used! I'm still at the planning & colouring stage yet & was wandering how I would connect the 3d pop-up mechanism to my shaped card - looks like you've just used a folded piece of card? I'll try that if I can't make my usual 'boxes' work.
Take Care hun,

Amazing Spring card; love everything about it! Good for you that you managed to rescue the the card after the water spillage incident, would have been a shame if such a beauty had gone to waste. Hugz, Sandy
